1st post, and I apologise sincerely if there is a generic post helping deal with this but after 30mins of trawling through search, and the google/YouTube options not really helping I thought best to ask the Tech-sperts on here.I've just bought an UltraStudio Mini Recorder...the one with SDI (Which I'm not currently using) and HDMI inputs - on the Desktop Video Utility, I have confirmed INPUT of 1080p30, which is absolutely what I'm expecting from source...but no output.
OBS will allow me to select a Blackmagic device as a source (which it never used to until I installed everything earlier today), and a software named Black Syphon which I can use for capture as well is initially showing it a selectable input, but keeps defaulting to <disabled> when it is selected.Blackmagic Ultrastudio Mini Recorder Manual Download
When I first installed everything, I was able to access Media Express, although not see any images coming through the device, but now when I try to access Media Express it states I have no BlackMagic Hardwware installed, and to check my devices/setup.I've attached a screenshot of the what I mean about the Input/Lack of Output options in The DVU Software if that helps - I'd really appreciate any advice that anyone can offer.
EDIT: In terms of devices I've tried a video camera with a HDMI out, my Macbook Pro with HDMI out, and an Xbox One console, it definitely seems to be recognising each device, as it altered the 1080p30 when i connected the MacBook initially, but it's the first time I've used the HDMI-out on my mac so not sure about settings needed there etc.
