iMovie for macOS has ben updated, adding support for importing video in the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) format made possible by macOS High Sierra.

Nov 05, 2017 I just upgraded from iMovie 9.0.4 to 10.1.7 and did the 'Upgrade Projects and Events'. It seemed to load most of my home movies, but I can't seem to open any of them. Under 'Projects', I have lots of squares across the screen with the project title under each. Each square is blank.

It also improves compatibility when sharing to YouTube. iMovie 10.1.7 is available at the Mac App Store.
